Working as part of the
Leisure Technical Consultants Ltd. inspection team.
Responsible for inspection and reporting work
carried out by Leisure Technical Consultants Ltd. to the
Senior Mechanical Engineer / Technical Manager. |

Key Skills : |
Minimum 5-years
Inspection and certification of Amusement device experience.
Ability to
plan work / man hours.
Ability to interpret Safety Standards.
A good understanding of all relevant safety
of machinery standards.
The ability to analyse and interpret
mechanical drawings.
A pro-active and creative approach to problem
solving.
The confidence to challenge established
practices, suggesting imaginative solutions to problems.
Excellent communication skills and the
ability to self motivate.
Strong interpersonal skills to enable
effective working relationships with the ability to
effectively communicate with Clients, contractors and other
staff.
Good IT skills with the ability to interpret
data and information and produce / present it in a clear and
report logical format. |

Role Objectives : |
To ensure a complete
professional, client focussed inspection service for all
aspects of Leisure Technical Consultants Ltd.
To ensure
that targets and standards are not only met, but exceeded.
To work
within health & safety guidelines.
Fully understand, interpret and instruct the
guidelines set down in : HSG 175 ‘A Guide to Fairground
Inspection’ . |

Key Duties
On-site :
|
To report to the Senior Mechanical Engineer
/Technical Manager, whilst working as part of the team and
to co-ordinate with the on-site staff, whilst following the
individual client on-site H&S procedures.
Generating a draft inspection report for the
work carried out each day and handing it to a site
engineering manager or a representative.
To liaise with client’s maintenance /
operations staff, to report on findings and provide
recommendations, where necessary. |

Key Duties
Office : |
Complete final engineering reports compiled
from draft on-site reports, within realistic dead lines
agreed between you and the Senior Mechanical Engineer /
Technical Manager.
Work may be carried out on a ‘working from
home basis’ at the discretion of the Directors.
Attend team meetings when required.
Attend Industry / Association meetings when
required and report information back to the LTC team.
Attend any courses when required, at the
discretion of the directors. |

Conclusion : |
To maintain and
deliver all duties in a timely and professional manner.
To work
within the Company electronic, automated and paper based
systems and processes to ensure that they are recorded,
applied & updated accurately and in a timely manner.
To adhere
and comply with all aspects of the Company handbook and
working practices of the Company.
To work within the boundaries of the Data
Protection Act, Health & Safety at Work Act & Employment
Law. |
