Dangerous Animal Enclosure Inspection
Mechanical, structural and electrical assessment
LTC recently expanded its range of services to
include inspection of dangerous animal enclosures, extending our
trademark ‘unique and total’ inspection service to zoo operators,
and operators of amusement parks featuring zoological exhibits.
Our service includes complete visual and
supplementary Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspection methods of
the following:
- Enclosure wall mesh and roofs
- Structural posts and beams
- Doors and gates, hinges, locking mechanisms
- Windows, panes, frames and public access areas (overlooking
balconies etc.)
- Indoor pens, staff access controls

Typically, we would consider those enclosures
designed for animals considered potentially dangerous if in direct
contact with or close proximity to the public, such as:
- Big cats (lions, tigers, leopards
etc.)
- Large primates (gorillas, chimpanzees etc.)
- Poisonous reptiles and amphibians (snakes, crocodiles etc.)
- Aquatic predators (sharks, stingrays etc.)
Our service may prove advantageous and provide
better value for money for those operators incorporating both
zoological and amusement device attractions on site. For more
details, please contact us here.
