About Leisure Technical Consultants
Limited (LTC)
Leisure
Technical Consultants Limited provides a
comprehensive service exclusively to the Leisure Industry; embracing all
aspects of ride procurement,
examination,
testing, NDE and
certification of all
types of amusement devices and attractions within theme parks and fairgrounds.
Our
engineering
personnel includes
mechanical, structural, design,
NDE and electrical
consulting engineers, and thus we are able to provide a
unique and total service to the leisure industry throughout the world.
Although LTC was
formed as a limited company in 1987, our leisure industry inspection/device
certification experience dates back to 1973. We are founder members of the National Association for
Leisure Industry Certification
(NAFLIC) and we are active in both its
administration and its working committees.
We have representation
on the
NAFLIC Management
Council and Standards Committee as well as the Amusement Device Safety Council
(ADSC) and Amusement Device Inspection
Procedures Scheme (ADIPS).
We are a registered Type 'A' inspection
body in the
ADIPS
registration scheme and conduct our business in accordance
with BS EN 17020:2004, the standard that contains the criteria and activities of an Appointed
Inspection Body (AIB).
We are delighted to say
that we provide a service to over 50% of the amusement parks
in the United Kingdom.
In addition, we
have provided our comprehensive inspection services to
clients in Saudi Arabia and Arabian Gulf Countries, Hong Kong,
India, Tunisia, Thailand, Indonesia, South America and in many parts of the European
Union.
